We are proud to be working exclusively with Barking Riverside, one of the most exciting, and complex placemaking projects in Europe. This is a transformation of a former large industrial site on the River Thames with over 2 km of river frontage, the development will comprise over 10,000 homes together with a railway station, Thames Clipper pier, schools, shops and high quality open spaces.
There is a new requirement for a Head of Land to take responsibility for:
- The progression of land disposals,
- Management of the delivery of the Development Agreement obligations,
- Actively find new business opportunities in line with the Corporate Plan and Vision,
- Provide accurate analysis of the land and sales market to inform the disposal of land parcels for development,
- Assess and manage commercial opportunities.
This high profile and rewarding opportunity would suit an accredited professional ( RIBA / MCIH / RICS ) with a proven track record leading on and undertaking land transactions, setting up deal structures, residential development, residential investment, and all associated legal processes. Proven people skills together with a strong financial and commercial acumen are also a pre-requisite.
