Work as a health and safety advisor for a family run principal contractor who has an established client base across multiple sectors. You'll be trusted to take the lead on all things H&S for small to large scale construction projects. Long term you'll become an integral member of a close knit team and always be seen and treated as more than just a number.
Established over 50 years ago, this close knit company are now looking for a health and safety advisor to join them on a long term basis. You'll be the first point of contact for all H&S both internally and to all their subcontractors and clients. You'll meet with clients and travel to sites to carry out reports, ensure training is up to date and much more, in a company that will support you to become chartered.
The role of the successful Health and Safety advisor will involve:
*Carry out health and safety risk assessments, rams and reports ensuring sites and subcontractors are inline with standards and regulations
*Visit sites, ensure training records are up to date and renewed inline with regulatory requirements
*Undertake prevention inspections on a regular basis and ensure records maintained of same and investigate accidents, strikes, near misses and incidents and ensure all documentation is updated.
The successful Health and Safety Advisor will need:
*Experience as a health and safety advisor working in Construction
*NEBOSH General
*Driving licence and access to vehicle
