About us:
Daniel Owen is an established recruitment consultancy specialising in the placement of quality temporary and permanent workers to all roles in the Built Environment. Working with some of the UK's largest and most respected construction, maintenance and engineering companies
We are currently working with a boutique main contractor who are looking to strengthen their construction team by adding a Health & Safety Advisor on a long-term contract. You will be working with the construction team closely to ensure high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality within the site operations. The project is a concrete frame cut and care project and you will be overseeing the HSE.
The Role
- Reviewing and providing commentary on RAMS (Method statements, risk assessments etc.)
- Taking a proactive and considered approach to H&S matters. Ability to consider programme, budget & Safety constraints of the project.
- Experience working alongside subcontractors as well as experience reporting to main contractors / clients
- Taking an active role in attending client meetings
You must have a proven track record of working within the construction industry with NEBOSH being preferred.
