Job Title: Health & Safety Coordinator

Location: Home & office working. Office base is flexible across our Anglian Water region, which includes Lincoln, Norwich, Colchester or Great Billing

Business area: Kier Utilities- Anglian Water

Contract / Hours: Permanent- Full Time

We are looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join our Utilities team working on our alliance with Anglian Water on the IOS contract. As far as we are concerned, the safety, health and wellbeing of our people, our contractors and members of the public is paramount. We need you to work closely with the SHE Managers & Advisors to support the smooth running of the department by providing proactive and flexible administrative support and documentation services. Nothing is so urgent that we cannot take time to do it safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify process and procedural improvements and implement these to enhance the services provided to customers
  • Daily review to ensure accidents, incidents and near misses are managed according to set requirements as well as ownership of tracking RIDDOR accidents
  • Review & provide administration support for safety actions on the Action tracking System, promote and improve safety
  • Creating team reports, directories, trackers, control of referencing, numerical sequencing and revisions of SHE documentation
What do we need from you?

  • Demonstrable experience and the appropriate qualifications for working within a H&S environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Be passionate about people and safety
