 Are you looking to join a leading utilities company working in partnership with Anglian Water and Clancy Docwra, maintaining and repairing the water network for your local communities?

If so, we have an excellent opportunity for a customer- centric, HGV driver to join us.

This role will be responsible for ensuring a quality backfill in accordance with legislation. Duties will involve carrying out backfill works in the highway, on private property and premises, or as instructed by the Backfill planner. The Backfill operative, where necessary will capture all precise measurements and locations as the task is completed and forward to the planning team through the use of electronic devices.

Essential experience is required in driving and operating a grab/HGV vehicle, working on multiple surface types, The Backfill operative must be able to work on their own initiative and be fully aware of NRSWA and relevant legislation.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Complete tasks within the given time period
  • Accurately recording information from site
  • Select the optimum techniques in order to minimise disruption to local residents, businesses and commuting motorists whilst ensuring a quality backfill
  • Ensure the work site is safe and that all work is done in a safe manner
  • Understand the companies Health and Safety policy and carryout all work in accordance with their requirements
  • Participate in all required training
  • Cooperate in any incident / accident / damage investigation
  • 7.5T or HGV License
  • First or Emergency Aid
  • Competent in using IT (Laptop / Smartphones)
