We are now recruiting for a Highways Engineer based in Salford, Manchester to Initially work on the HS2 Enabling Civils Works Contract. Producing comprehensive and accurate scheme designs using Design Software such as AutoCAD Civils 3D and documentation in accordance with the brief and timescale. Location: Salford Quays, Manchester - remote working available with the need to attend the office as required (usually weekly)

Contract: Permanent, Fulltime

Salary: £33k - £38k

Responsibilities

As Highways Engineer you will be working within the team contributing to the successful delivery of the contract

Your day to day will include:

  • produce and develop sound design solutions to meet the client requirements within timescale and budget and that comply with relevant health and safety legislation, particularly the CDM Regulations.
  • Contribute to compliance with the Quality Management Systems.
  • Provide regular reporting of progress to clients by communicating with line managers regarding their progress against planned programme. Assist in the development of junior colleagues
Who are we looking for?

  • Experience working in Highways/Construction environment
  • Competent with design software such as AutoCAD and Civils 3D
  • The desire to learn and work in the BIM Environment
