We're looking for a Highways Innovation Coordinator to join our Highways team in Birmingham/Doxey. Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £20.5k - £27k

Responsibilities

As a Highways Innovation Coordinator, you'll be working within the Highways Team and will play a key role in supporting our Innovation Strategy and ambitions. You will administer, support, manage and monitor our Innovation and Improvement Hub and Innovation Process

Your day to day will include:

  • Working closely with the Head of Innovation to support the delivery of innovation projects, whilst building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Taking responsibility, maintain, and create (as required) innovation documentation, case studies, lessons learnt log and support the transition of new innovations into business as usual for any successful innovation/improvement projects.
  • Undertake research and horizon scanning for new and innovative ideas as well as attend and contribute at relevant innovation/improvement meetings
Who are we looking for?

This role of a Highways Innovation Coordinator is great for you if you have:

  • Proficient skills in standard Microsoft office suite.
  • Experience of working in an innovation or fundraising team
  • Experience of co-ordinating meetings, logistics and minute taking
