Contract: Permanent, Fulltime

Responsibilities
As a Highway Inspector, you'll be working within the Highway & Rights of Way Inspection team that sits within the Asset Management and Professional Services section of the Highways contract on both the West Northamptonshire and North Northamptonshire contracts.
Your day to day will include:
- responsibility for undertaking safety inspections on the highway network in accordance with the Highway Safety Inspection Manual and the "Code of Practice Well Managed Highways Infrastructure"
- record your inspection findings through an asset management system and prepare work packs for defect rectification.
- manage your own programme of walked and driven inspections each month
This role of Highway Inspector is great for you if have:
- experience in undertaking highway inspections
- relevant work experience in the highway maintenance sector
