Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: 23k - 25k
Responsibilities
As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you'll be working within the Highways Team, supporting them to assist the Maintenance & Repair (M&R) Supervisor with the efficient and timely delivery of the M&R service requirements across the network.
Your day to day will include:
- Carry out Highway Maintenance duties as instructed this will include being part of the winter maintenance and Emergency's Callout
- Work in close cooperation with team members and subcontractors, contributing to the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment
- Contribute to the promotion of customer care by working closely with team members to ensure client and network users are dealt with in a polite and courteous manner
This role of a Highways Maintenance Operative is great for you if you have:
- Asset Management Awareness - operational level required
- Experience and knowledge of strict Health & Safety operations and the related practical implications
