Responsibilities
As Highways Maintenance Operative (Road marking), you will be working within the maintenance team, assisting with all aspects of road marking works and associated highway maintenance works including, minor civils' works, or any other Highways related works
Your day to day will include:
- Maintaining road markings to high technical standards
- Driving and operating specialist lining vehicle / plant requiring general and specialist skills including vehicle checks, routine maintenance, such as oil / water checks and cleaning
- Undertaking road marking and other specialist surface application works, including high friction surface asphalt imprint
- Taking part in routine / cyclic maintenance activities, along with winter and emergency call out / standby cover
This role of Highways Maintenance Operative (Road marking), is great for you if you can:
- Provide a full driving licence and feel comfortable driving specialist vehicles
- Demonstrate an understanding of Highways works
- Show previous working in similar high-risk health & safety environments
