As Surfacing Manager within Breedon Surfacing Solutions, you will lead the business across the North of Scotland (predominantly within the Grampian and Moray areas), and will thrive to deliver on our safety, operational and sustainability performance.
You are a self-starter who is commercially focused, assumes responsibility for your own performance and has the drive and initiative to develop others. You will have a strong general business and construction knowledge, be an excellent communicator with an analytical approach to work. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills, strong team ethics, a flexible attitude and be able to adapt to change.
The Role…
- Proactively drive a positive health, safety & wellbeing culture within the business
- Lead the management, development and engagement of the operational teams and squad members
- Deliver works safely, ensuring the highest regard to quality and profitability
- Ensure operational best practice and performance standards are maintained/exceeded
- Build and develop key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Promote and embrace the cultural ethos of the Breedon Values

Do You Offer…?
- Extensive surfacing or construction management experience within multi-site operations
- Experience of leading and developing teams at an operational level
- Commercial awareness, with a focus on controlling cost and optimising value
- Experience of key client and contractor management
- Ability to perform under pressure, analyse problems, evaluate data and undertake contract reporting

This position is office and site based as required, but hybrid/flexible/remote working will be available dependant on operational demands.
