We're looking for a Hire Manager to join the team at our Trafford Park Hire & Visitor Centre. The role of Hire Manager is a hands on, commercial and a results driven manager who will have a passion for coaching and developing teams, delivering excellent customer service and will role model our Company values. Managing the commercial teams in Trafford Park, this role will also be responsible for developing and promoting the Company's hire business, to include our full range of products and services, ensuring the Division's Customer Charter is followed. The role is target driven with a key focus on order winning activity. Working alongside projects and service teams in the region and the Building Service functions, the role holder will promote an environment of effective teamwork and communication Role Details *Starting Salary: £44,000 - £48,000 * Role based: Manchester, M17 1AW * Contract type: Permanent * Annual leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays Role Responsibilities * Accountable for the delivery of targets for the year including contract value, order numbers, opportunities as well as other commercial KPI's. * Provide coaching, mentoring and motivation to drive towards the achievement of the commercial areas objectives and KPIs, to ensure performance is maximised * Support Area Hire Managers generation of orders and upselling additional services by providing them with guidance throughout the customer journey, including assisting with writing tenders, co-attending Customer visits as appropriate etc. Responsible for working with the hire centres to ensure credit control queries are resolved and customers are paying on time, in line with company guidelines and procedures. * Provide appropriate statistical reports on commercial teams performance on a weekly/monthly basis as required. * Ensure National Campaigns and local initiatives are fully supported by way of Business Development call numbers and monitored output. * Maximise contract margins across all areas, overcoming or removing barriers to this. * Ensure that sound customer relationships are developed in the region through effective communication to provide excellent levels of customer service resulting in repeat, continued or new opportunities and orders. * Support tender submissions through active involvement from proposal and agreeing the order winning strategy. Our Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who has: * Strong commercial experience, including face to face B2B sales experience and business development * Proven experience in team management, including coaching. * Gathers comprehensive information to support decision making. * Structure information to meet the needs and understanding of the intended audience. * Full UK driving licence.
