The role of the HS&QA Manager is to ultimately ensure "anyone who comes to work can go home". The role will take full responsibility for maintaining outstanding H&S and Quality standards across the new build projects, site capacity expansions and a portfolio of capital maintenance projects across Data Centres and technical infrastructure estates in the UK, Europe and Japan.

This well-established Client is recognised as revolutionary Colocation provider. With over 20 years' experience in designing, building and operating energy-efficient, reliable data centres. They are expanding their footprint in Asia and Europe, investing and leveraging their real estate and infrastructure to expand their current sites and open up new ones.

Responsibilities:

    To position, promote and protect the company brand in relation to Health, Safety & Wellbeing, and enabling the full roll out of the programmes and reporting on compliance in all respects Monitor safety efforts of contractors and site people Oversee the issuance of the new hire safety documents and other division specific information to all new site teams / employees Conduct/coordinate Project Safety "Tool Box" Meetings with all contractors on a weekly basis as required Discuss safety with the on-site DC's staff and Contractors supervisory personnel Coordinate with project supervision so that necessary personal protective equipment and safety materials are utilised correspondence, directives, citations, etc to the relevant management team Conduct documented Project Safety and Health Inspections not less than twice each month Investigate all injuries and review all accident reports, coordinating corrective measures with contractors or Subcontractor Personnel Lead the indoctrination of new employees, contractors and subcontractor personnel into the Safety program and culture Coaches, mentors and trains entire project staff in quality management principles, procedures and project-specific requirements. Serves as mentor and coach to Quality staff to advance their careers at Walsh and improve retention. Responsible for leading and managing quality processes such as work planning, pre - activity meetings, material management, Quality Incident Reports, Lesson Sharing and follow-up inspections.
Requirements:

    Worked in Mission Critical Environments or construction projects Previous experience in the UK, EU and Asia-Pacific. Must be willing to travel on reasonable short notice within Europe, India and APAC or as required At least 5 years of experience Significant experience focused on mission critical building projects where electrical safety is paramount. Proven experience in Quality Management
