We're looking for ICA Engineers to join our South West Water team in Hatherleigh



Location: Hatherleigh- with travel throughout the South West- company car/ allowance provided

Contract: Permanent- Full Time



Responsibilities

As ICA Engineer, you will be working in a team who deliver planned and reactive MEICA services across the South West. Whether it's building and commissioning a new treatment works, improving and upgrading a treatment process or responding to a process failure, we will be there ensuring we complete the works in a safe and timely way.



As ICA Engineer you will be working in a multi-disciplinary team, alongside a range of operational teams such as mechanical and electrical technicians. You will be responsible for commissioning new plant equipment to relevant standards, including the production of all required documentation.



Your day to day will include:

  • Carry out ICA maintenance on a variety of water treatment assets including planned and reactive tasks, including investigating, diagnosing and repairing faults on process systems as quickly and efficiently as possible
  • Proactively identifying and reporting follow-on work or areas for enhancements, improvements to asset and systems
  • The Health & Safety of our team is of paramount importance and, as such, you will be required to conduct Point of Work Risk Assessments and adhere to approved Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work


  • What are we looking for?

    This role of ICA Engineer is great for you if you hold:



    · Practical understanding of operational plant and control systems

    · Hold knowledge and experience working with relay logic and PLCs, as well as ability to read and fault find from circuit diagrams

    · Understanding of water treatment processes

    · Hold a Full Driving Licence
