IMDS Field Performance Manager

Kier Utilities is looking to recruit an IMDS Field Performance Manager, who will report to the Area Manager. The successful post-holder will be responsible for managing the day-to-day Integrated Metering and Developer Services (IMDS) operations across a number of programmes within a geographical area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximise the day-to-day organisation, planning and control of labour, plant and resources to ensure efficiency
- Ensure costs (plant, labour, material and fuel) and risks are controlled
- Promote and drive continual improvement and innovative ideas
- Ensure site administration is accurate and current
- Proactively manage schedules to minimise disruption and preventable mistakes
- Ensure all metering materials are managed and that all meter stock is fully accounted for
- Monitor, measure and improve productivity, performance and quality of field teams
- Reduce aborts, rework and TMA fines
- Ensure effective people management (including time-keeping, absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance, development)
- Ensure all work complies with relevant H&S and environmental legislation
- Ensure all work is completed in line with water quality policies
- Promote a positive health and safety culture to include zero harm and zero utility strikes
- Promote near miss/hazard spots reporting
- Manage IMDS operations in accordance with CDM Regulations, the New Roads and Street Works and Traffic Management Acts
- Complete Health and Safety, Customer and Photo audits in accordance with the Health and Safety plan
- Investigate customer complaints and quality issues, and facilitate resolution
- Co-ordinate work with customers, particularly in relation to large meter exchanges and other complex jobs
- Manage resources to minimise the number of missed customer appointments
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Holder of a Full UK Drivers Licence
- IOSH Managing Safety or CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme
- NRSWA Supervisor
- Knowledge of CDM legislation
- POSWSH and regulated hygiene requirements
- Excellent people management and organisational skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the internal business and to external stakeholders
- Ability to drive, and willingness to travel extensively across the region
