Kier Utilities is looking to recruit a Skilled Operative, who will report to the Ganger/Supervisor. The successful post-holder will be depot based, participating within a gang to ensure safety of site, self and colleagues, quality of work and production.
Locations; Norwich, Ipswich, Kings Lynn and Isleham
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out reactive and maintenance work as issued
- Ensure that work is completed to a high standard within a reasonable time scale
- Complete the required paperwork that is to be handed in on a weekly basis
- To be able to carry out on site risk assessments & raise issues when circumstances arise
- Work flexibly and carry out any suitable duty requested of you
- Take ownership of issues on site
- Communicate with the supervisor as & when required
Essential Training:
- Must be able to participate on the contract standby rota
- NRSWA Operative - Units 001-007inc & 009
- UK driving licence CAT C1 (minimum)
- Abrasive Wheels trained
- Utility network work experience (R&M Potable Water)
- Experience in excavation, backfilling & reinstatement of trenches on utility contracts
- UK driving licence CAT C + E
- Have reasonable written and numerical skills
- EUSR Water Hygiene
- EUSR - SHEA Water
- Cat & Genny Trained
