Introduction: Working in alliance with one of the leader water utility companies in the UK, this is an exciting opportunity for a customer-centric Operative within Kier Utilities, working on the Anglian Water working in partnership with Barhale and Morrisons.

No day will be the same in this crucial role where most of your time will be spent site based and you will be responsible for the day-to-day for monitoring day to day taks. This role will report to the delivery manager and will require the effective utilisation of time and resources to meet delivery programmes.

Key responsibilities:
  • Responsibility for personal and site safety.
  • Carry out general construction work as instructed by the Team Leader and/or FLM.
  • Operate and maintain at least two pieces of plant, drive vans, pickup trucks.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant Safety, Health and Environmental legislation, business policy & procedure and local instruction & guidance.
  • Ensure full and correct use of vehicles, plant and materials, keeping wastage to a minimum.
  • Any ad-hoc duties that may occur as instructed by the management team or team leader / ganger.


    • Skills and experience required:
  • UK driving licence
  • First Aid certificate
  • Manual Handling trained
  • Construction experience
  • NRSWA Operative
