· To ensure the efficient and effective collection of service charges for shared ownership and leasehold properties, as well as collection of assured shorthold and shared ownership rents.

· Responsible for the collection of housing related debt (current and former) as directed by the Income Manager in line with all internal policies, procedures and process maps and legislation.

· To provide an excellent customer focused service for our client's shared owners, leaseholders and market rented tenants.

· To provide residents with welfare benefits advice where required and identify arrears cases where customers need additional support and liaise with the relevant sections/agencies to ensure support is obtained.

· To take firm but fair action on any resident who falls into arrears, including any legal procedures and forfeiture of the property where necessary.

· To manage and monitor residents accounts, to take action where necessary and retain a central record of all communications with the residents.

· To be responsible for providing accurate information to homeowners, tenants, solicitors, legal representatives and mortgage lenders, in relation to the role.

· To pro-actively build excellent relationships with residents, customers and any internal or external stakeholders to ensure income is maximised.

· To meet all targets set and any relevant corporate objectives.

· To provide a customer service that deals with any queries promptly, clearly and accurately in a knowledgeable and professional way that resolves disputes and contributes positively to the customer experience.

· To ensure a collaborative approach between teams.

· To follow recovery process to ensure maximum collection rates.

· To use Mobysoft Rentsense, or any other software to action accounts and hit targets.

· To deal with any cases at litigation stage and attend court alongside a solicitor if needed.

· To issue basic court claims.

· To enter and request judgement on issued court claims.

· To serve section 8 & section 21 legal documents.

· To liaise with solicitors in drafting and serving section 146 notices.

· To assist solicitors when applying for forfeiture

· To apply for possession claims online and evictions.
