Key Responsibilities
Kier Construction Limited requires an Information Co-ordinator to manage the project common data environment (CDE), support project teams to ensure information management is aligned to industry standards and provide ongoing training to support project stakeholders.
Your day to day will include:
- Manage the CDE for the lifecycle of the project alongside the information manager and in line with Kier procedures and ISO 19650 standards.
- Manage and host training sessions for new users of the project CDE, either with groups or on an individual basis, at the start of projects and as and when required.
- Fully understand the project protocols, effectively communicate, and act as the main point of contact for all stakeholders, ensuring processes are strictly adhered to.
- Validation, checking and curation of all incoming and outgoing project documentation to the CDE including receipt, classification, verification, registry, distribution, and retrieval.
- Regularly complete compliance checks of uploaded documents to ensure the project information naming protocol is implemented.
- Configuration and preparation of status reports on workflows, sample submissions, TQs, RFIs, other reportable data and user activity to inform digital dashboards.
Who are we looking for?
This role of Information Coordinator is great for you if you have:
- Accredited/Certified training in using electronic document management systems such as ASITE and Viewpoint 4 projects.
- Experience of working on projects with large volumes of data and information from various sources, preferably within a tier one environment
- Experience with using the Microsoft 365 suite of tools, specifically Excel, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- Comprehension of industry standard naming conventions. ISO 19650-2 National Annex preferred, BS 1192 fundamentally.
