Job Description

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will manage, secure, and optimize IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. From servers and networks to Office 365 administration, you'll ensure high availability, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements that keep systems efficient and compliant.

  • The Qualifications We Seek

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-4 years of experience acting as a help desk escalation point for workstation and O365 related issues
  • Managing Windows Infrastructure: Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
  • Office 365 Administration: Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, Security and Compliance
  • Mail flow: Exchange Online, Spam Filtering, Phishing Awareness Training
  • Office 365 Security: Multi-factor Authentication and Conditional Access
  • Office 365 Security and Compliance Center: Data Loss Prevention, Retention Policies, eDiscovery, Threat Exploration, Alert/Incident Response
  • PowerShell scripting for on-premises servers and O365 services
  • Identity Management: Azure AD, SAML SSO, RBAC
  • Managing a virtualized server infrastructure (VMware Preferred)
  • Centralized Anti-virus Management (Defender ATP Preferred)
  • Other Required Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and priorities
  • Working in an Enterprise/International sized organization
  • Successfully implemented net new IT systems
  • Experience with Azure Administration: security, storage, networking, backups
  • Experience with Linux administration and BASH
  • Experience implementing compliance solutions: PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO, DLP, Retention
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune: Auto-pilot, Configuration/Compliance Policies

  • Your Daily Tasks

  • Design, deploy, and manage IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage systems, etc.)
  • Administer on-premises and cloud environments with high availability and disaster recovery
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate new technologies
  • Perform capacity planning and scaling for infrastructure resources
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure for optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across systems and networks
  • Administer Office 365 Services: Licensing, Azure Active Directory, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Azure AD Connect
  • Administer Multi-Domain Infrastructure: Windows Servers, Active Directory, Group Policy
  • Manage mail flow: Exchange Online, mailboxes, spam filtering
  • Monitor Office 365 service health, security, and alerts
  • Enforce enterprise standards for IT architecture and governance
  • Provide support for level 3 help desk escalation issues
  • Apply latest security patches to workstations, servers, and apps
  • Document systems and dependencies thoroughly
  • Monitor system performance and optimize efficiency
  • Ensure corporate compliance for PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO, DLP, Data Retention
  • Automate admin workloads via PowerShell scripts
  • Configure Azure/Cloud networks
  • Partner with vendors for troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Plan, test, and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies
