This is an exciting opportunity for an Instrumentation Engineer to work on a large scale biorefinery project for a company which is massively expanding and winning some of the most interesting projects around Europe! This company are a well established MEP contractor working in several industries including data centre, energy from waste, power, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and many more.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the Electrical/ Instrumentation function of the project
- Installation of field instruments, tubing, instrument bracketry glanding and wiring.
- Interrogate, review and comment on P&IDs (piping and instrumentation diagrams), loop diagrams, installation details, layout drawings, schematics generally and cable schedules.
- Supply chain and vendor engagement
- Communicate technical issues as they arise with the project management team
- Monitor and review engineering progress
- Concise and accurate reports compiled regularly
Background Required
- Experienced Instrumentation Engineer
- Experienced in working on instrumentation projects
- Experience working on (Dcs, PLC, SCADA, HMI)
- Electrical / Instrumentation qualifications (HNC, HND, Degree level)
