Position Overview

The Data Centre Integration Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the integration of Security and Telecoms systems and infrastructure into data centre environments. This role ensures that all deployments whether physical, network, security, or telecommunications-meet operational, performance, and client requirements. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge of network topologies, physical installations and a background in Network systems or Control System Hierarchy Design and Implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Planning & Coordination

  • Lead end-to-end integration of network, telecoms, and security platforms into data centre facilities.
  • Develop integration strategies, rollout plans, risk assessments, and resource schedules.
  • Coordinate across engineering teams (network, security, telecoms, physical install) to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Ensure installation adhere to client standards, capacity constraints, and architectural guidelines.

Infrastructure, Security & Telecoms Deployment

  • Oversee installation and configuration of data centre hardware including switches, optical equipment, cross-connects, and structured cabling.
  • Supervise deployment of security systems including access control and CCTV.
  • Validate infrastructure readiness: power, cooling, space, connectivity, physical and logical security, and failover mechanisms.

Testing, Validation & Acceptance

  • Supervise end-to-end testing of integrated systems, including telecoms routing, security functionality and redundancy.
  • Lead site acceptance tests, integration testing, and system validation processes.
  • Ensure deployments meet quality, security, and compliance standards before handover to operations.

Operational Readiness & Handover

  • Collate comprehensive documentation, including network/security diagrams, telecoms layouts, rack designs, runbooks, and configuration details.
  • Ensure monitoring, alerting, logging, and security controls are in place and validated.
  • Prepare operations teams for ongoing support through training, walkthroughs, and detailed transition materials.

Project, Vendor & Carrier Management

  • Manage timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.
  • Coordinate multiple vendor supply chain.
  • Oversee SLAs, RFI processes, equipment delivery, and vendor performance.
