Interior Architect Job in East London

Interior Architect job available with a high-end hospitality design firm based in East London. The ideal candidate for this role will be technically proficient with an appreciation and understanding of high-end interior design schemes. The role is offering a salary of up to £50,000 and hybrid working.

With an ever-expanding portfolio of projects, they now require an outstanding Technical Designer / Interior Architect to join their UK office. The successful candidate will work on national and international high-end projects and will benefit from flexible working hours and a hybrid work setup.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working across all stages of the design process, from concept through to completion
  • Working on concept development and space planning for high-end hospitality projects
  • Producing detailed design intent drawings
  • Creating bespoke joinery and furniture design drawings/plans
  • Producing client presentations
  • Working on-site and liaising with contractors when required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years experience in luxury hospitality, large-scale high-end residential experience might be considered
  • Proven track record producing technical packages, joinery, and detailed drawings
  • Experience working as a Technical Designer / Interior Architect across all project stages
  • Confident in interpreting design concepts
  • Experience liaising directly with architects, contractors, and suppliers
  • Client-facing experience would be beneficial
  • On-site experience
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Sketch Up; Revit is also beneficial
  • Hand sketching ability preferred
  • Good knowledge of UK building regulations.
