Interior Designer Job in London
Our client is seeking an Interior Designer to join their workplace design team working from their office located near Saint Pancras, London, a few minutes' walk from King's Cross station. Your role will see you involved in workplace/commercial projects across London, working with a project team across all stages of design. The position is offering a salary of up to £45,000 + hybrid working + career progression.
With a team of interior and architectural designers the practice provide a high-level of service throughout all steps of the process, from initial client contact through to technical design and on-site delivery, with project typically ranging up to 30,000sqft. The ideal candidate will come from a traditional design background with strong AutoCAD skills and some experience with Revit as the practice is looking to fully move over to Revit in the next 3 years.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work alongside a project team across all stages of design
- Produce 2D technical designs and bespoke joinery detailing in AutoCAD
- Assist with FF&E selection and specification
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Assist in concept design and development
- Site visits and assisting with installations
Required Skills & Experience
- Ideally degree qualified in Interior Design, Architecture, or similar
- 4+ years' experience in workplace design, ideally from a traditional design practice but D&B will also be considered
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Adobe Suite
- Revit experience is highly desirable, but not essential
- Client-facing and on-site experience
