Interior Designer Job in Finsbury, London

New Interior Designer job with an international furniture company based in Finsbury, London, you will be involved in space planning and design as part of one of the group's brands. You will be working alongside a wider office team delivering space planning, design schemes and analysis for a wide range of projects for clients both in the UK and internationally. The role offers a salary of up to £36,000 + benefits + hybrid working.

This newly merged business is now part of a wider group of companies that have international coverage and are at the forefront of office and commercial furniture, equipment, and furnishings. With some of the most iconic names in furniture the practice is well-recognised and have a solid network of clients across the globe. Now looking to hire a Space Planner / Designer on a full-time permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Create, draft and develop space plans using AutoCAD
  • Edit drawings and visuals, preparing documents for tenders
  • Complete benchmarking activities to understand wider industry, best practice and trend analysis
  • Space planning and furniture specification across a range of building spaces
  • Liaise with the wider team across sales and technical.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven background in space planning / interior design, approximately 3+ years
  • Ideally degree qualified in interior design, or similar
  • Strong AutoCAD skills, as well as competency using Adobe Create Suite and Ms Office
  • Research skills and inquisitive nature
  • Ability to travel when required.
