Position: Sales Representative - Interiors
Location: Cork (and surrounding areas)
Salary: Neg DOE
The Job:
The main purpose of the position is to achieve monthly and annual sales targets set down for the territory
Interiors Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Develop existing accounts to maximise profitable business
- Target, cultivate and open new accounts, which will generate the maximum amounts of
profitable sales through the achievement of sales targets
- Pro-actively generate sales to achieve maximum profitability against mutually agreed sales targets.
- Meet customers on regular basis to maintain awareness of the service and product range
- Monitor competitor activity and report on this to management.
- Complete and maintain accurate sales reports.
- Analyse the market and contribute to the budgeting process
- Developing customer base for branded product
- Any other reasonable duties within the individual's capabilities
- Identification of future complementary products to the range therefore enhancing profits and maximising opportunities
Interiors Sales Representative Requirements:
- Full and Clean Driving Licence
- Good level of literacy and numeracy
- External Sales experience preferably in construction related industry
- Excellent selling, negotiation and organisational skills
- Ability to provide a prompt and efficient service
- Ability to establish and maintain strong customer and colleague relationships.
- Possessing good customer base knowledge and competitor knowledge
- Information gathering and problem solving skills
- Ability to devise and implement territory development plan and key account development plans
- Development and management of appropriate sales pipeline and accurate sales forecast
- Effective management of the sales cycle and process
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
- Results in terms of sales and margin
- Customer retention and feedback
- Feedback from colleagues
- Credit notes issued
TO PEOPLE INTERNALLY
- Close working relationship with the Sales & Marketing Managers, internal and external colleagues
- Communicate effectively with colleagues
RELATING TO PEOPLE EXTERNALLY
- Develop collaborative business relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Strong focus on customer service, ensuring all customers are provided with the best service possible.
- Building longer term value added professional business relationships
PROBLEM SOLVING/OPPORTUNITY IDENTIFICATION
- Pre-empts customer issues and moves swiftly to resolve queries and difficulties. Resolves account queries swiftly and economically

- Commitment to ensuring best practice within the organisation with a strong focus on Customer Service and Health & Safety

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team of colleagues and partners both inside and outside the sales function and business organisation and to manage multiple concurrent business development initiatives.
