The role:

You will be the main contain point for our Internal Audit outsourcing partner, ensuring internal audits are conducted in accordance with the agreed calendar. You will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Internal audit program and governance matters and support the governance streams of the ESG, Risk & Compliance Framework, including the management of the company secretarial records.

Reporting directly into the Senior Director ESG & Compliance your key responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day management of the Internal Audit outsourcing partnership.
  • Oversight and organisation of both the Internal and 3rd party audit programs.
  • Management of the Traction audit tool and the provision of dashboard management reporting.
  • Review and evaluation of the DRAFT audit reports and acceptable recommendations.
  • Integration of the identified audit risks into the organisational risk management program.
  • Management of a Lessons Learnt program incorporating control recommendations and appropriate training.
  • Secretarial support for the Risk Steering Committee.
  • Development of an attestation process to support the 3rd party Performance, Performance and Conformance program and enhance internal governance.
  • Management and completion of the Company Secretarial records and documents.
  • Support to ensure the successful delivery of the governance work-stream of the organisational ESG, risk & compliance framework.

About you

  • A driven and forward-thinking individual that can work well in a team and across multiple business functions and is confident to provide advice to key stakeholders within the business.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in internal audit, compliance, or a governance role, in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Relevant qualification(s) held.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including the senior executive team.
  • Comfortable operating globally in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Very versatile and adaptable, able to take a hands-on approach.
