We're looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join Kier Construction. Within this role, you can enjoy a company car/car allowance, pension matched up to 7.5%, 26 days holidays + bank holidays and even more.



Location: Southeast England

Contract: Permanent - full time, flexible hours available



Responsibilities

The role of Internal Communications Manager is varied and fast-moving role has the potential to create real change through the way we deliver internal communications to colleagues across Kier Construction.

Within the role, you will be responsible for implementing our internal communications strategy across a variety of channels and a wide range of topics, managing news flow, reporting on progress and using creative flair to produce compelling and engaging content to inform and engage our people.

Applicants will have exceptional writing and verbal communication skills with an ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation including the wider Construction communications and marketing team, Construction senior leaders, the Group communications team and regional communications managers.



Who are we looking for?

Applicants will be required to have the following skills and attributes:

· An outstanding communicator with exceptional writing skills - able to draft strong copy for a range of internal communications channels including senior leaders' updates, intranet, social media and other internal collateral.

· Excellent organisational skills and ability to project manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and work under pressure

· Possess tact and sensitivity when working with confidential data and information

· Proven experience in dealing with and influencing business leaders, and confident at networking and building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.

· An ability to think clearly in times of challenge, able to respond to changing events.

· Ability to work to the highest standards, demonstrating resilience to pressure and uncertainty, retaining due professionalism.

· It's desirable that applicants have basic videography and photography skills, including editing in premiere pro or similar software for internal promotional videos.
