We're currently recruiting for an Internal Communications Manager to develop and deliver on our internal communications strategy for the Group.

Location: Flexible, with agile working available
Contract: Permanent, full-time, able to consider part-time opportunities

Responsibilities

Reporting into our Head of Communications, your role will involve, but not be limited to:

  • Develop and direct communication plans and key messages, including projects that are supporting, and aligned to, the overall communications strategy
  • Lead on the editorial strategy, planning and calendar for internal communications for the Group
  • Making complex information easy to understand and accessible to our people by developing and implementing a Group-wide editorial guidelines
  • Deliver campaigns, projects and events - from change communications to campaigns, operational guidance to reactive communications - to effectively highlight the strategic priorities and values of the Group
  • Work with other members of the internal communications team to develop strategies to support cascading information to offline and online colleagues that are geographically spread across the UK
  • Be able to balance providing strategic counsel to stakeholders with the delivery of tactical communications
  • Advise our senior leaders on the delivery of colleague communication and engagement strategies across the full range of internal channels and measuring success

    Who are we looking for?
  • Experience working in complex organisations and experience in influencing business leaders and confident at networking and building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strong strategic thinker and collaborator who is able to operate at all levels of the organisation.
  • Possess tact and sensitivity when working with confidential data and information
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to measure key performance indicators
  • The ability to project manage multiple initiatives simultaneously & work under pressure with pace and energy
  • Excellent writing, facilitation and presentation skills, with the expertise to write high-quality, engaging copy for different channels and audiences.
