Basic to £30,000 ote £60,000 + Benefits

* Are you able to produce quotes for construction projects?
* Can you covert these quotes to orders?
* Are you proactive in your attitude to finding business opportunities?
* Can you also capitalise on inbound enquiries?
Working for a successful well run business you will be both handling inbound enquiries as well as networking and re-contacting older customers who have placed orders within the past. Largely dealing with businesses directly who require additional space. Applications may be warehousing, equipment housing, small industrial units, office accommodation and extension projects, showrooms and educational buildings.
The role will be understanding these requirements on an in depth basis and then working up a quotation/ estimate based on materials, infrastructure requirements and installation costs. The position will suit individuals who will embrace and enjoy the challenge of working within a sector where no two offerings are identical.
Whilst this is a responsible standalone role you will enjoy the support and mentoring from senior personnel.
You will be working in a relaxed yet professional and dynamic atmosphere, where excellent customer service is of paramount importance. There is a good social element to facilitate the team ethos, as well as weekly project meetings. Although it is a flat structure, there could be opportunities to develop your career. Training is seen as an essential way to ensure your skills are up to date to do the job, and you are encouraged to bring new ideas and to take an active involvement in product development. This role will give you lots of variety to your working day where you will be able to use your initiative and think on your feet.
Key skills will include:
Motivation and drive to double your basic based on individual performance
A confidence to qualify projects that are more often than not unique
Experience or excellent knowledge of how a building is built (foundations, facilities, dimensions, installation issues)
A driving license to enable you to site visit (when required) as well as working out of a busy office
Basic design capabilities to initially visualise the finished solution
An individual that can fit in with a team
