Location: Birmingham with hybrid working available
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime (Part-time working available, just let us know)
Salary: Up to £35k + 26 days of annual leave + Benefits
As an Inventory Engineer, you'll support the Asset Manager in the collection, recording and updating of highway asset information using Asset Management System and Geographical Information Systems, as a part of Birmingham Highways Interim Services Contract being delivered by Kier.
Your day to day will include:
· Collection, updating and reporting of highways inventory data
· Ensuring contractual requirements for collection, updating and auditing of inventory records are met
· Supervising and training other staff within the team, including writing work instructions and procedures
· Liaison with sub-contractors & Client
· Ensuring all inventory collection and updating tasks are completed accurately and on time
Who are we looking for?
This role of Inventory Engineer is great for you if you have:
· Experience using GIS Systems, Asset Management Systems (such as Confirm) and MS Office products especially Excel to a good standard
· Experience of training and supervising junior staff
· Good knowledge of Birmingham highway network
