An opportunity has arisen for an Investment Analyst to join a private family office who are investing $3BN in the UK property market. If you are looking for the opportunity to take ownership of your career and to learn all aspects of the development process, this would be the opportunity for you.

Your role will entail:

  • Data wrangling, summary, presentation, and visualisation for senior team members
  • Weekly dashboard reporting and follow-up of a business process
  • Financial appraisals and reporting
  • Reporting internally to board members and externally to funding partners and agents
  • Assisting senior team members on research projects
  • Managing robust Excel cash flow models at the investment level
  • Supporting the entire valuation reporting process with the stakeholders and revise valuation models based on feedback
  • Supporting the development team and provide supporting documentation
  • Supporting monthly valuation support cycles
  • Supporting the quarterly distribution projection cycles for each investment through update of hold-sell analysis for each property
  • Perform in-depth industry, market, and asset sector research and analysis.
  • Interface with third party appraisal firms and advisors to engage and facilitate external valuations and reviews
  • Monitoring and management of the project progress
  • Preparing investment memos and strategy papers to be presented to the investment committee

To be considered, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of direct property experience and a Real Estate related degree
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills
  • Experience onboarding of excel underwriting cash flow models once new properties are acquired
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Relevant real estate investment experience at a leading investment banking, capital markets, consulting firm or asset manager with a focus on real estate
  • Real estate knowledge, including broad market fundamentals with a strong proficiency in financial cash flow modeling
