Can you manage the change, and problem management processes? Ensuring the smooth and controlled execution of IT-related changes. Do you have proven experience in ensuring the effective resolution of IT-related problems?
As part of Laing O'Rourke's transformation, we are currently seeking a passionate "Leader" to step into our IT Change Manager position based in our Dartford head office.
You will be the champion in working with our customers to understand their objectives and priorities and aligning our tasks to the corporate vision. This includes strong working relationships with IT teams, stakeholders, and the CAB.

Duties include:
- Assess and evaluate all proposed changes to IT services and infrastructure to identify potential impacts and risks.
- Take charge of chairing and managing Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, facilitating the evaluation and approval of changes.
- Develop and execute corrective and preventive actions to minimise the impact of problems on IT services.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of known errors and workarounds for the IT support teams.
- Regularly generate and analyse performance metrics related to change and problem management.
- Communicate important information about upcoming changes, potential risks, and problem resolutions to relevant parties.
- Act as a liaison between internal technical teams, facilitating effective communication and coordination during the change process.
- Implement enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of change and problem management processes.
- Ensuring the lifecycle of all Major Incidents are tracked effectively and the Incident is kept up to date in the ITSM tool
- Production of RCA for every Major Incident
Essential skills and experience:
- Minimum of 4 years working in an IT Service Management department
- Manage and improve processes along with coordinating and managing people
- Strong leadership skills and assertiveness
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence others
- Pragmatic
- Well organized with a methodical approach to prioritise workload in order to meet targets
- Proven experience in major incident management
