The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure and applications, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. The Operations Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining our infrastructure & applications to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
You will work closely with the internal Technology team to resolve any issues along with ensuring building relationships with key stakeholders within the business and support partners when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all assigned operations IT support tickets are resolved with agreed SLA's.
- Work closely with other members of the technology team and users to troubleshoot issues raised.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates of infrastructure applications to ensure they are up to date and secure.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the IT infrastructure against agreed metrics and identify areas of improvement.
- Perform backups and disaster recovery procedures for Infrastructure applications.
- Respond to and resolve any issues that arise in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all IT systems and processes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with the business and key stakeholders.
Essential Skills required:
- Operational background with a technical hands-on approach.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations including servers, networks and applications
- Technical experience in the Microsoft stack and windows end points.
- Excellent communicator at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills; keep track of multiple, complex time-critical activities; attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively with remote and virtual teams.
- The ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.

- Must have the flexibility to work in a dynamic company with a wide product range, and approach their work with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- Must be able to manage their own schedule workload.
- Must be prepared to visit any sites across the group for short periods at short notice which may include overnight stays.
