We are currently seeking an IT Service Capability Coordinator to be based in our Dartford head office, who will be responsible of ensuring the team are the The Supplier of Choice to our internal customers, with a focus being placed on: Working with our customers to understand their objectives and priorities and aligning our tasks to the corporate vision, Building close relationships with business leaders and being proactive in our engagement with them, delivering projects and services to agreed timescales and service levels and offering a value for money proposition. An ability to repeat success in product and service delivery through a defined set of IT standards & methods and supporting policies & governance and also offering a pragmatic 80:20 approach to our work.
What will the role look like?
- Coordination of the end to end Change Management, major incident and problem management processes along with the coordination of the Change Advisory Board meeting which occurs twice a week.
- Ensuring Change Communications are delivered to relevant stakeholders at the appropriate levels and in a timely manner
- Periodically audit the process to ensure appropriate levels of compliance and quality are always maintainedResponsible for the ITIL Incident and Problem management lifecycle
- Coordinate the evolution of the current Problem and Incident process, in line with best practice
- Engagement with the Operational Team Leaders to ensure all problems have been addressed and progressed
- Be a point of contact within the team ensuring all problems and incidents are being dealt with correctly
- Working alongside the Service Delivery Manager and all Operational Team leaders to ensure all SLA's are met.
- Driving investigations to identify the root cause of Problems, mitigating actions and service improvement initiatives (Including People, Process and Technology elements)
- Ensuring the lifecycle of all Major Incidents are tracked effectively and the Incident is kept up to date in the ITSM tool
- Production of RCA for every Major Incident
- Management of MIR Reviews
- Understanding of high level ITIL Service Design and Service Transition concepts
What skills & experience are we looking for?
- Manage and improve processe along with coordinating and managing people
- Optimistic and motivating holding team meetings and to push back on decisions/proposals put forward by other members of the department
- Ability to meet deadlines/Service Level Agreements
- Strong leadership skills and assertiveness
- Service orientated and focused
