We are now recruiting for an Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Engineer/Consultant to join our Highways Value Added Engineering Technology Team in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:

The Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Engineer/ Consultant will provide advocacy, strategic guidance, research and development support, technology advice and project assistance to clients who wish to implement innovative and state of the art (or legacy) ITS and solutions.

We are seeking candidates who:

  • Proven track record of delivery in ITS consultancy and/or design, or transferable field.
  • Knowledge of ITS, Highways England Technology Assets, Infrastructure, loT, Telco., IP technologies and their applications
  • Effective and confident communicator, professional in approach and presentation, with the ability to build relationships and interact effectively with business and client stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work under pressure. Analytical, investigative, solutions finding, and problem-solving skills.
