We are now recruiting for an Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Senior Engineer/Consultant to join our Highways team in Birmingham. As part of your role, you will be required to work with internal and external clients to deliver ITS, Technology Asset Development, and Professional Consultancy. You will lead and be responsible for the delivery and technical content of feasibility studies, investigations, and technology research to provide innovative solutions to meet specific client needs.

You will develop new and existing client relationships through trust and credibility that will assist and enhance the growth of the Group.

You will lead and manage other team members to design and develop solutions with agreed timescales, quality, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Authoring and contribution to feasibility studies and/or value management proposals
  • Leading technical consultancy
  • Leading research and analysis
  • Leading the production of technical reports and drawings
  • Line management of junior colleagues
What do we need from you?

  • Possess a relevant tertiary qualification in engineering/science related subject
  • Proven track record of delivery in ITS consultancy, design and/or project management
  • Understanding of Asset Management Principles
  • Knowledge of ITS, NH Technology Assets, Infrastructure, loT, Telco, IP technologies and their applications against the services Kier Services | Highways supplies
  • Experience in managing others
  • Full UK Driving licence and ability to travel / overnight stays when required
