The Role:
You will join a growing bespoke joinery, fit-out & manufacturing business where you will lead the design department and report into the Managing Director.
- Provide all items of design from architect concept to manufacture and production of bespoke joinery.
- Attend design meetings with clients alongside liaising with production to ensure manufacturing conforms with agreed drawing.
- Draw up bespoke items such as reception desks, featured wall panels, ceilings , elements, kitchens, cabinets.
The Person:
- Ideally be coming from a joinery background
- Has worked in a similar design role within a construction or manufacturing environment
- Have experience with AutoCAD 2D, Cabinet vision
- Experience with Solidworks is desired
- Must have experience in joinery drawing or fit-out
- Strong communication skills
