Position: Junior HVAC Design Engineer
Location: Dunboyne
Salary: Negotiable D.O.E
The Job: Are you passionate about engineering and HVAC systems? Do you have a strong desire to learn and grow in a supportive and collaborative environment? We are seeking a Junior HVAC Design Engineer to join our client's dynamic team.
As a Junior HVAC Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, assisting senior engineers in the design and development of HVAC systems..
Responsibilities:
- Management of QEHS on designated site(s)
- Management of Junior Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foremen, Site staff
- Managing relationships with Contractors, Subcontractors, Consultants, Clients, End Customers
- Problem solving and decision making in collaboration with management on site matters
- Planning of resources, labour, materials and subcontractors
- Management of materials and supplies on site in safe and secure manner
- Delivering projects on program and within budget
- Liaising with design team
- Monitoring progress on site
- Maintaining site documentation in orderly and accurate manner
- Approving all Final Account Claims including all variations
- Responsibility for all projects in the area
- Holding regular meetings with management team to discuss and monitor progress of projects
- Being available to take calls from clients etc. at all times
- Reviewing all minutes of project meetings and addressing all issues arising
- Submitting weekly status reports to management team
Requirements:
- 1+ years' experience in PM role
- Qualification or Equivalent in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
- HVAC or mechanical experience
