A Junior Interior Designer is now available with a multidisciplinary practice based in North London. This role will see you working on all stages of high-end commercial and residential projects.

Established in 2008, this multi-disciplinary practice has a team of 50 architectural and interior design staff. Their portfolio of high-end hospitality, commercial, retail and residential projects, includes both refurbishment and new build schemes. With an exciting pipeline of work, they are currently looking for an experienced Junior Interior Designer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working on projects from start through to completion
  • Producing design schemes and putting together presentations
  • Assisting on all stages of FF&E including concept design, bespoke furniture and joinery, specifications (soft and hard finishes) and schedules
  • Interior architecture; producing/assisting on drawing packages
  • Assisting on-site inspections and installations Liaising with suppliers, contractors and third parties.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in interior design in a UK practice
  • Degree qualified in interior design or similar Experience and interest in working on a mixture of commercial, residential and hospitality projects
  • Good creative and concept development abilities
  • Proven experience working/assisting on FF&E
  • Experience producing drawing packs and detailed drawings
  • Experienced in AutoCAD, SketchUp and the Adobe Suite is essential
  • Revit experience is advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
