Junior Interior Designer Job in Manchester

Junior Interior Designer job with a well-established architecture and design firm in Manchester! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Junior Interior Designer or recent graduate to join a progressive and growing practice that can offer a good work-life balance, combined with the opportunity to learn and shape your career with a talented team of creatives. The position is offering a salary of up to £31,000 + extensive benefits + hybrid working!

Our client is an award-winning architecture and design firm with a team of almost 100 creatives working across a range of sectors including, residential, commercial, retail, industrial, and workplace. This position will see you join a design team of five, working on the roll-out of commercial projects for one of the company's largest and most well-known clients. The position will provide an excellent opportunity for a designer who is looking to gain exposure to all stages of design with projects mainly based in the UK.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist with space planning and 2D technical designs
  • 3D rendering and creation of visuals
  • Work with the wider team to develop presentations and drawing pack preparation
  • Assist with FF&E selection and specification

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified in interior design or similar
  • Experience with AutoCAD is essential
  • Photoshop, InDesign, and SketchUp experience is highly beneficial
  • Hand sketching skills preferred
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with a team
