Job Title: Junior Quantity Surveyor

A leading contractor within the UK Timber Engineering sector is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Driven by strong order books and a healthy spread of existing projects, this vacancy is the ideal opportunity for Junior Quantity Surveyors who are drawn to impactful, well design contemporary timber structures.

Working alongside a highly experienced team of Timber Engineering specialists, you can expect to gain first-hand industry leading knowledge and skills.

The Role:

  • Proactively coordinate the commercial and contractual risk of projects
  • Develop and manage project budgets and forecasts to ensure financial control and profitability of contracts
  • Support a Senior Quantity surveyor in managing contractual and commercial issues across a diverse range of projects


The Requirements:

  • A Degree within Construction, Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
  • A minimum of 1-2 years post qualification experience as a sub-contractor Quantity Surveyor
  • Experience within Engineered Timber Structures is desirable but not essential
  • An awareness of the role of a Sub-Contractors Quantity Surveyor
