Land Manager Job in North Yorkshire

My client has a Land Manager job available in North Yorkshire. This 5* regional housebuilder build new homes in the North West, Yorkshire and the North East. This role will be working in the Yorkshire and North East region.

My client are looking to speak to Land Managers or Senior Land Managers between Leeds and Sunderland, they would be open to Town Planners with housebuilding experience too. As the successful Land Manager, you'll work closely with the Head of Land for Yorkshire and the North East to identify land opportunities from 50 - 700 units. This role would require some presence in the Leeds office each week.

Role & Responsibilities

- Identifying land opportunities in North Yorkshire and the North East

- Negotiating terms for the acquisition

- Prepare and submit land approval packs

- Build and maintain relationships with landowners and agents

- Manage the offer process

- Support the Head of Land

- Be able to work between the region and the Leeds office.

Required Skills & Experience

- Ideally educated to a degree level of a relevant course

- Experienced in land buying in the specified region

- Previously worked for a housebuilder

- Proven track record of completed land deals

- Experience in strategic land would be an advantage but not essential.
