Land Manager Job in Cambridgeshire
I currently have a Land Manager job available with my client who are a top 10, five-star house builder. This position is based in the eastern region from their office in Cambridgeshire.
As the successful Land Manager, you'll be joining the busy land team identifying land opportunities across the region which spans from Grantham down to Bedford, Rutland across to Cambridge. Currently the region builds circa 600 units per year but with the addition of a Land Manager they are looking to achieve closer to 700 units in the coming years. My client is open to speaking to experienced Land Buyers looking for their next step in their career or Land Managers looking for a new challenge.
Role & Responsibilities
- Identifying land opportunities in the region
- Negotiating terms for the acquisition
- Prepare and submit land approval packs
- Build and maintain relationships with landowners and agents
- Manage the offer process
- Support the land director.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experienced in land buying in the specified region
- Previously worked for a housebuilder
- Proven track record of completed land deals
- Ideally educated to a degree level of a relevant course (not essential)
- Experience in strategic land would be an advantage (not essential).
