Land & Planning Assistant Job in Cornwall
My client currently has a Land & Planning Assistant job available in Cornwall. This regional housebuilder is looking for someone who is motivated to progress their career with a growing housebuilder in Devon and Cornwall.
As the successful Land & Planning Assistant, you be working on a wide range of functions including assisting in identifying and assessing land opportunities, site appraisals, securing planning applications, contracts and reports.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist and support the Head of Land & Planning with identifying sites, due diligence, offers, planning and purchase
- Help produce acquisition packs
- Assist with planning applications and appeals
- Help prepare for committee meetings and planning appeals and attend when necessary
- Building strong relationships with local authorities, agents, landowners and other housebuilders in the region.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with aspects of land acquisition
- Understanding of the UK planning system
- Ideally a relevant degree
- Good geographical knowledge of Devon and Cornwall
- Driving licence is essential for this role.
What you get back
- £30,000 - £40,000 DOE
