Our client is a main contractor, specialising in Building and Civil Engineering with over 80 years experience and and wealth of knowledge from a wide range of building and civil engineering projects, many of them high profile and award winning schemes for national and international clients.
They are urgently seeking to recruit experienced Land Surveyors / Assistant Land Surveyors qualified in suitable civil engineering / surveying.
Working very closely with the Directors, you will ideally be based in Yorkshire / Humber region but be prepared to work nationally.
You will be required to carry out topographical surveys on a wide variety of sites using robotic instrumentation, presenting drawings in 2D / 3D as standard and you must be willing to travel and lodge away from home when required. Projects will range from small domestic surveys right up to major large scale developments and infrastructure projects.
Experience & attributes required: -
* Ability to work as part of a busy team, but also be confident in your own ability & decision making.
* Excellent technical knowledge, and proven experience in a similar role.
* Excellent organisational, oral and written skills.
* Good negotiation skills.
* Commercially aware and ability to add value.
* Good IT skills.
* Hardworking, reliable and have a very positive attitude.
* Clean driving licence.
This is a full-time position offering a salary package between £20k to £30k dependant on expeirence, and a good benefits package.
