We're looking for a Land Surveyor to join our team in Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset. Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, sharesave scheme, family friendly policies and even more.

Responsibilities

As an Land Surveyor you'll be working within the Hinkley Point C team carrying out engineering surveying using survey equipment, including levels and total stations.

Your day to day will include:

  • Responsible for organising own work load, scheduling monitoring observations and meeting daily deadlines for the delivery of monitoring data.
  • Installation of the monitoring of levelling studs, BRE sockets, prisms, retro targets, surveying the position of these using total stations.
  • Setting Out.
  • Production of installation reports.
  • Working under the guidance of a chief surveyor, undertaking accurate surveys using 0.5 total stations and digital levels.
Who are we looking for?

  • Degree / HND / HNC / BEng or equivalent, preferably within land surveying or a related technical discipline.
  • Previous site surveying and setting out essential.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in surveying.
  • Knowledge of GPS equipment and modern surveying equipment.
