Electrical Engineers with a degree or from a trades background will enjoy working for a leading contractor, delivering large-scale Data Centre facilities across Europe. Lead Electrical Package from a technical point of view, review internal and external designs, attend meetings and communicate with clients and team members to ensure that needs are being met. Great opportunity for Electrical Engineers with Design and Site experience to work on a cutting-edge Data Centre construction project and become an industry recognised specialist.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the Electrical Engineering function for the project, you will provide weekly reports and updates to the Project Director and the Client.
  • Responsible for technical compliance as well as ensuring complete and accurate handover information.
  • Review and issue Technical Submittals in line with project specifications
  • Review and issue RFI's
  • Manage a team of electrical engineers & package managers
  • Supply chain and vendor engagement
  • Communicate technical issues as they arise with the project management team
  • Monitor and review engineering progress


Personal Qualifications

  • Level 8 degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5 years' experience in a Lead role is essential
  • Experience in Hyper Scale data centres
  • Experience in NEN10 Regulations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Management experience - ability to manage and lead a team
  • Office 365 (Outlook, Excel (advanced), Word, PowerPoint, Share file, CMMS systems)
