We are seeking a Lead Installer / Lead Erector who will be responsible for installing and ensuring compliance with the correct specification of VRS being erected / repaired on the network.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Installer / Lead Erector you will ensure compliance with design and report any deviations back to the client. Work in accordance with the Method Statement and Risk Assessment for the specific task. Bring any safety issues or concerns to the Supervisor / Manager or the Safety team. Oversee that the works carried out by Installers and Operatives is done to the correct specification and as per the construction/design drawings and manufactures specification. Ensure the Supervisors / Managers instructions are implemented as per site briefings.

Guarantee all permits are in place and that the safe system of work is being properly adhered to. Confirm the correct inspection and use of company plant and vehicles, correct storage, and care of any materials. The role will also require the successful applicant to complete point of work risk assessments, site diaries, plant checks and ensuring the correct, serviceable PPE is present and worn correctly.

What do we need from you?

To be successful as a Lead Installer / Lead Erector you are required to have the following: HGV, Blue FISS/CSCS card Including Operatives CITB Touch Screen Test in date, Level 1 Award in Health & Safety, VRS Foundation Course, VRS Installer Course, NVQ Level 2 diploma in work based fencing VRS, Propriety and Non-Proprietary training courses such as Vetex, Hill and Smith Guard Rail, Mega Rail etc, Lorry loader and Orteco driving rig.
