Protocol are working with a leading FE College based in the East London area
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity to join them on a fixed-term contract as a Lead Learning Support Assitant starting in September 2021 ongoing until March 2022.
Role responsibilities
Support the SENDCo in planning for and delivering effective services for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and their teachers.
Support the SENDCo in overseeing interventions for SEND students.
Consistently promote positive values, attitudes, behaviour, social and emotional development of students.
The person & qualifications
Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding/ child protection and health and safety practices and procedures.
Knowledge and awareness of issues and factors related to underachievement and barriers to learning and participation.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
The ability to work flexibly, calmly and with patience.
The ability to lead and work as part of a team.
